In 2003 the owners of the Huckabee Building in downtown Opelika gifted the property to Envision Opelika Foundation. The property was renovated and currently is Side Track Coffee and Ampersand Wine Bar.

Circles Opelika was formed in 2018. Circles Opelika is a Poverty Reduction Program designed to “inspire and equip families to resolve poverty and thrive” in the Opelika area. Southside Center for the Arts
Southside Center for the Arts is the home of the offices of the Arts Association of East Alabama, Envision Opelika Foundation, and the Community Foundation of East Alabama. Designed and used as a school building from 1929-1999, now this historic structure is alive with the sights and sounds of performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, lectures, arts education activities, and community engagement events.
